Keynote stage at Tech Show London 2026, ExCeL London

Two Days at Tech Show London 2026

I spent two days at Tech Show London at ExCeL London, and it turned out to be one of the more useful events I have been to this year. The floor covered the latest in AI and data, and day two felt even bigger than day one.

Day one

Day one was about seeing the latest in AI and data firsthand, from cutting-edge AI tooling through to some genuinely powerful data innovations. Walking the floor and talking to the teams behind the products gives you a much better sense of what is real and what is still a demo.

The networking was as valuable as the stands. Thanks to everyone who stopped to talk, including Nirav Shah of Eternal Web, who I met at their booth.

Day two

The standout for me was the Red Hat keynote. It was a strong session on how open source innovation is driving AI and cloud transformation across enterprises, and a good reminder that the future of technology is open, collaborative and moving quickly.

Beyond the keynotes, the value was in the conversations. Talking to people building data platforms and AI tooling in the open gives you a much clearer picture of where things are actually heading than reading about it does.

The whole event was an eye-opener, and I am already looking forward to what comes next.
